Smoked Salmon Scrambled Eggs

Scrambled egg on wholemeal toast with smoked salmon added at the last second before serving sprinkled with chives. Delicious

Mixing bowl (to sit on top of the sauce pan)

Preparation Smoked salmon scrambled eggs

  • Chives – Finely chop 1 mm
  • Bread – Toast on both sides
  • Salmon – Finely chop 1 cm cubed approximately


  1. Place the sauce pan on the stove with water in approximately halfway up, medium flame (important: the water doesn’t touch the bottom of the bowl when placed on top)
  2. In the bowl Crack the eggs, add the butter, cream and small pinch of salt and a turn of black pepper
  3. Once the water is simmering place the bowl on top of the pan
  4. Using the spatula gently mix the egg mixture every 30 seconds
  5. when it is still slightly liquid add in the salmon and combine, take it off the heat
  6. Cut the toast into triangles as per picture and place the scrambled egg mixture on top
  7. Sprinkle with chives and serve straight away
